Winter Sports
Northeastern Utah's spectacular Uinta Mountains make Dinosaurland a winter sports wonderland. Over 250 miles of groomed and ungroomed trails, ranging from 7,300 to 11,00 feet in elevation, crisscross high mountain passes and gorgeous alpine meadows. Stop along the way to catch your breath at breathtaking vistas.

Ever spent a night in a yurt? Yurts (think of them as high-tech Mongolian teepees) are available to rent for overnight stays by cross country skiers and snowmobile groups. The yurts are about four to seven miles from the Flaming Gorge-Uintas National Scenic Byway.
