Getting Here

Dinosaurland is located along US Hwy 191 and Hwy 40 and Utah Hwy 44 in the northeast corner of Utah. There's lots of ways to get into Dinosaurland - north, south, east, or west - by plane, car, bike, or bus.



Two international airports, Salt Lake City and Denver, are within driving distance of Dinosaurland. Great Lakes Airlines provides daily direct flight service between Denver International Airport and the Vernal City-Uintah County Airport. The Vernal City-Uintah County Airport, located in Vernal, is open to the public.

The Vernal City-Uintah County Airport serves Vernal and Uintah County. The airport has more than one runway. The longest is a paved runway extending 6601 feet. The facility is at an elevation of 5274 feet at a distance of about one mile from Vernal

Bus service to and from Dinosaurland is available through Greyhound Lines, Inc. (1-800-231-2222) with two full stops each day to both Roosevelt and Vernal.
