Cross Country Skiing, Snowshoeing, Snowmobiling

Northeastern Utah's spectacular Uinta Mountains make Dinosaurland a winter sports wonderland. Over 250 miles of groomed and ungroomed trails, ranging from 7,300 to 11,000 feet in elevation, crisscross high mountain passes and gorgeous alpine meadows. Stop along the way to catch your breath at breathtaking vistas.

Winter in the Uintas means snow!

Rent some cross country skis or snowshoes and serenely trek into the high country. Or cruise through mile after mile of untracked powder on a powerful snowmobile. When the weather gets cold, the fish get hungry! Wintertime fishing is a wonderful and rewarding experience. From October to May, your choices for recreation are as unlimited as the vast expanses of snow-covered land that lay before you.
