Recreation Overview
Hiking, Boating, Tours, Golf Courses ...
The wild, largely untouched land and waters of Northeastern Utah has uncountable possibilities for outdoor recreation. The local guides and outfitters are experts on the best spots for fishing, hiking, you name it. A great number of tours and trips are readily available.
Biking both the forested and bare ridges of Northeastern Utah is popular and Flaming Gorge is the site of many boating and houseboating excursions. The Gorge and other Northeastern reservoirs are also prized as excellent fishing spots.
Golf courses can readily be found in the area and hiking trails abound. A dedicated hiker could spend their life here and still be satisfied. Horseback riding trails are also plentiful, threading through beautiful landscape.
Game thrives in Northeastern Utah and so do hunters. The roughness of the land makes for a fine playground for off-road enthusiasts. The rivers, if anything, are even rougher, drawing whitewater rafters from all over. And for those who prefer a smoother way, scenic drives allow the traveler a gorgeous overview of the landscape.
